We take 4 GPS samples per second, run that through the on-board computer to know exactly what is going on with the vehicle. This allows for our updates to have sub-meter accuracy in most parts of the U.S.. What does this mean to you? Your dispatch always knows where officers or linemen are when backup is needed.
